TELMA Open Workshop "Interactive Learning Environments (ILEs) for arithmetic and algebra education: the TELMA approach", 14 November 2006
Studies of ILEs carried out by TELMA researchers are presented together with the results of the cross-experimentation of three of them.

Moreover an ILE developed within the ActiveMath European Project will be presented by Erica Melis who is responsible for this project.

Cross Experiment Report Form, December 2005

What is the theoretical framework of reference of the experiment (No great detail needed: some indication and some key idea is enough)?

What is the main research question/goal/objective of your experiment? (What have you been "searching"/ looking for? What have you been studying?…)

TELMA Cross Experiment Guideline, September 2005

This work is the result of an on-line collaboration among students and young researchers of TELMA teams. The main aim of this collaboration is the integration of TELMA teams by means of a cross experiment.

Candia Morgan ed., Intermediate Report on Representation, December 2004
Deliverable n° 20.2.1

ICT can play a crucial role in approaching mathematical knowledge, which is abstract and formal, through the exploration and the manipulation of concrete representation.

This deliverable presents an integrated account of various aspects of representation that are present in the work of TELMA teams in conceptualising, designing, and studying the use of technological tools in mathematics learning.

Chronis Kynigos ed., Intermediate Report on Learning Contexts, November 2004
Deliverable n° 20.3.1

The use of ICT requires the revision of the educational strategies and activities that students engage in. Careful attention should be given not only to ICT tool but also to the learning situation and context where those tools are used.

This deliverable provides a synthesis of the different ways in which contextual issues are afforded by TELMA teams.
